Sage Days 132
Monday, 13 July - Friday, 17 July, 2026 (the week before https://lpc2026.conf.tuwien.ac.at)
Location
TU Vienna, Austria
Focus
Our goal is to improve cooperation using SageMath. Thus, the workshop will feature several groups, each tackling one specific research problem, which lends itself to experimentation with computer algebra.
These groups will be led by facilitators, who are experts in
- enumerative and analytic combinatorics,
- representation theory of finite-dimensional algebras and homological algebra of finite-dimensional algebras,
- discrete geometry.
Participants who want to focus on using or developing SageMath rather than joining a research group are also welcome. We will provide tutorials for beginners, and there will be presentations highlighting specific capabilities of SageMath.
Programme
Apart from the scientific programme, there are many recreational activities to pursue in Vienna. You can swim in the Danube, fancy some dancing, relax in museums and exhibitions, ...
Participation and funding
Participation is free, please send an email if you are interested in attending.
If you need funding, please let us know so we can sort out possibilities!
