== How to fix the binary MSI distribution to allow package development ==

The binary MSI is missing some files that allow oen to develop packages. The following steps will allow you to develop packages using the MSI distribution.

 * Install binary as described [[windows/install-msi|here]].
 * Download source distribution and unzip to a temp folder.
 * Copy folders spkg\examples to equivalent location in Sage's installation path.

You can now make new packages.
